Have you ever heard of the Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA)? This non-profit organization was founded in 1979 to promote store brands. It represents over 4,500 companies in 75 countries and organize two trade shows a year: one in Chicago and one in Amsterdam.

The interest in store brands has been growing increasingly over the past decades and turned into a $230 billion industry in the US alone (source: plma.com). Most chain stores are now offering items under their unique store brands both in their food aisles (fresh food, frozen foods, refrigerated foods, canned, and dried foods, snacks, pantry staples, pet foods…) and non-food aisles (health and beauty, over-the-counter drugs, cosmetics, housewares, cleaning and laundry products, lawn and garden chemicals, paints, hardware, auto care…). The PLMA shows are THE place to be to find the right partners for your store brand.

The upcoming PLMA show will be held from November 12^th to 14^th, 2023 at Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL (Chicago area). With over 1,650 qualified exhibitors and tens of thousands of products on display, we are confident you will find whatever you are looking for during the show.
